Welcome to the 3rd Meeting of the Lake Chad Basin Governor's Forum

A high-level discussion between the eight Governors of the Boko Haram affected area in Cameroon (Far North, North), Chad (Lac and Hadjer-Lamis), Niger (Diffa), and Nigeria( Borno, Yobe, Adamawa) and convene 100 + speakers, partners, participants representing national institutions, multilateral and bilateral partners, civil society, media, influencers from the region.

Highlights

Hear from 8 governors of Far North and North Regions (Cameroon), Hadjer-Lamis and Lac Provinces (Chad), Diffa Region (Niger) and Adamawa, Borno and Yobe States (Nigeria) convened with over 100+ attendees representing national institutions, multilateral and bilateral partners, as well as civil society from the region.

The Lake Chad Governors’ Forum is an annual event happening in one of the four countries affected by the Boko Haram crisis. It’s a two-day event split into various general plenary and thematic sessions and will take place from 04 – 05th October 2021 at the Palais des Congress in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
